Heather Johnson, LMT, CYT
Licensed Massage Therapist, Certified Yoga Teacher
I am licensed massage therapist specializing in therapeutic massage since 2001. Each massage is customized to meet individual needs utilizing deep tissue, swedish, orthopedic and other therapeutic techniques. In my past experience, I have had the opportunity to refine my therapeutic skills in chiropractic offices treating patients injured in automobile accidents. This is where I discovered my passion for working with the neck and cervical injuries. I have also worked in spa settings with the added benefits of spa treatments in adjunct to massage therapy. Bio Balance Massage was my first company focusing on bringing massage to the client and individualizing my massage. I created Tranquil Oasis, Inc as a full wellness center providing many modalities for health. As owner and director of Tranquil Oasis, Inc, I managed health practitioners and instructors while I maintained my massage practice and taught yoga classes.
Now, my massage practice is my sole focus providing a healing space for everyone to relax from stress and restore from chronic or acute pain. I enjoy helping people and feel fortunate to have learned therapeutic techniques to bring relief for each person. My client base encompasses a wide range: from age 18 to 84 years of age; stay-at-home moms to triathletes; and injuries from cervical herniations to plantar fasciitis. The majority of my clientele come to me for relief in neck and back pain. Each massage session is designed to benefit individual's unique needs and situation. I look forward to each session because I enjoy what I do.
I wish everyone peace and wellness, always.
